2. If you are a group or student organization that would like to volunteer together for a move-in shift, please email res-education@uiowa.edu.
If you are a returning student that is living in the Residence Halls for the 2026-2027 academic year, you are required to sign up for at least 4 move-in shifts during new student move-in (August 15-17) to move into the residence halls early. Please make sure to also sign up on the form here https://housing.uiowa.edu/move-in-volunteerso you receive all communication about when you can move into the residence halls on Friday, August 14, required training and t-shirt.
